A childcare group, Melbourne
A Melbourne childcare group chosen by parents who ask AI before they tour. Its agentic browsing score went from 33 to a perfect 100, and each centre can now be recommended for its own suburb.
The numbers
- 33 → 100
- Agentic browsing score, out of 100, after structural fixes to the group's existing site MaxConnex agentic audit tool. Baseline 13 August 2026, re-run 21 September 2026 with all three scored checks passing
- 4
- Centres published as separate machine-readable entities, including one opening in 2027 Structured data on the live homepage, checked 24 September 2026
What we did
- Published each centre as its own entity with its own hours, programmes and location
- Fixed the accessibility problems that stopped AI agents identifying buttons and links on the site
- Built answer content for the questions parents ask before booking a tour
Parents choosing a childcare centre increasingly start with a question to an AI assistant: which centres near me have places, what do they cost, and which are rated well. The assistant answers with a short list, and the centres on it are the ones it could read.
This group’s site read well to a parent and poorly to a machine. On our agentic browsing audit, which measures whether an AI agent can actually navigate and use a site rather than stall on it, it scored 33 out of 100 on 13 August 2026. The failures were structural: buttons and links an agent could not identify or name, and a site summary file it could not follow.
We fixed both on the existing site rather than rebuilding it, and published every centre as its own machine-readable entity, including a fourth centre due to open in 2027, so each one can be recommended for the suburb it serves. The score reached 100 the next day, and a fresh audit on 21 September 2026 confirmed it still holds.
