Terms of use
Last updated: 2 October 2026
1. Who we are
MaxConnex (ABN 20 923 373 612) is an Australian business based in Sydney, New South Wales. We provide AI visibility, website, search and advertising services, mainly for healthcare practices. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean MaxConnex, and "you" means the person or business using our website or app. You can contact us at contact@maxconnex.ai or on 0422 355 449.
2. Accepting these terms
These terms apply when you use maxconnex.ai or our free AI Visibility Check app for ChatGPT. By using either, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them. If you use them on behalf of a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for that business.
3. Our services
This website describes our services and offers free and paid audits, checks and calls. Information on the website is general. It is not a quote, an offer or a promise of any particular result.
4. The free ChatGPT app (AI Visibility Check)
AI Visibility Check is a free app, made by MaxConnex, that you can use inside ChatGPT. It is not made or endorsed by OpenAI. You give it a business name, website, suburb and category. The app reads that business's public homepage, asks ChatGPT one general local question (for example, "Who is the best dentist in Pagewood?"), and shows you:
- a score
- the question it tested
- the businesses ChatGPT named in its answer
- up to three gaps it found
Please keep in mind:
- Results are automated estimates. Each check tests one question at one point in time. AI answers change from day to day and from person to person, so a different question or a different day can give a different result.
- There is no guarantee. We do not guarantee that any business will be recommended, named or ranked by ChatGPT or any other AI assistant or search engine, whether or not you use our services.
- It is not an official rating. A result is not a rating by OpenAI, ChatGPT or any other AI provider.
- It is not professional advice. Results are not medical, legal, financial or regulatory advice. Healthcare practices remain responsible for their own advertising obligations.
- Usage is limited. The number of checks is capped each day. We may change, pause or withdraw the app at any time, and it may sometimes be unavailable.
Our privacy policy explains what the app stores and why.
5. Acceptable use
When you use our website or app, you agree not to:
- check a business in bad faith, for example to harass it, or to misrepresent its results to others
- use the app to probe websites you have no legitimate reason to check
- scrape our website or app, or use bots, scripts or other automated means to run checks in bulk
- try to get around the daily limit, for example by using several accounts or identities
- try to access any part of our systems that is not public, or test, probe or break our security
- interfere with the website or app, or overload it
- copy, reverse engineer or resell the app or its results as your own product
- enter information about patients, customers or other people
- use the website or app for anything unlawful, misleading or harmful
We may limit, suspend or block access for anyone who breaks these rules.
6. Intellectual property
We own, or are licensed to use, the content of this website and the app, including the text, design, scoring method, reports and the MaxConnex name and logo. You may view and share our pages for your own information. You may use and share your own check results, as long as you present them accurately and do not describe them as an official rating by OpenAI or any other AI provider. You need our written permission for any other use.
Other businesses' names and trade marks belong to their owners. ChatGPT is a trade mark of OpenAI. Naming a business or product does not mean it endorses us, or that we endorse it.
7. Third-party services
Our website and app rely on services run by other companies. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, not ours. They include:
- OpenAI: ChatGPT, where the app runs, and the API the app uses to ask its question
- Anthropic: Claude, which the app uses to pick out business names from an answer
- Calendly: booking a call or walkthrough
- HubSpot: our customer database
We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of third-party services or of websites we link to.
8. Paid services
Paid work, such as audits, website builds and monthly AI visibility services, is governed by the written proposal, agreement or checkout terms for that work. If those documents and these terms disagree, the proposal or agreement applies.
9. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other law, that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or changed.
Where the law allows us to limit our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited, at our choice, to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Subject to section 9:
- the website and the free app are provided as they are and as available, and we do not promise they will always be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or free of errors
- we are not liable for decisions you make based on a free check or on general information on this website
- we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising from your use of the website or the free app
These limits do not apply to the extent a loss is caused by our fraud or wilful misconduct, or where the law does not allow them.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example when our services or the app change. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the website or app after a change, the updated terms apply.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the courts that can hear appeals from them. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
13. Contact
